Wahoo!! National Beer Day!! Today I have doodlewashed a tall cool crisp one in a stein for you to enjoy. Or should that be I have drawn you one? Regardless here it is. I must say #doodlewashaday is challenging me both imaginatively and creatively. A good thing. But glass? That is a first for me. How did I do? Got to go, I am thirsty. Cheers, Susan

National Tartan Day #doodlewashaday

Sorry Charlie but I opted for Tartan. Since my ancestors are mainly from Scotland and Ireland and I have been to Scotland three times I have a bit of an affinity with tartans. Here I have doodlewashed two of my ancestral Clan MacLeod tartans, MacLeod of Harris and MacLeod of Lewis and Raasay. My favourite would be MacLeod of Skye. I could go on about Scotland but I will spare you.

Sneaking in one more before our weekend break. You guessed it we were lucky enough to have another stellar day. Time for some sitting in the sunshine and more scribbling in my sketch book.
