Artist Susan Feniak. QoR Watercolor on Strathmore Vision paper. 9″ x 12″. Officially Spring begins around 3 p.m. today. These tulips are my homage to that momentous event. I hadn’t played with my watercolors for ages and it felt like I had become a tad rusty. I better find more time to practice. Unframed $30.

My first attempt at painting exclusively with a palette knife. Normally I don’t tackle abstract painting either. Asking a lot of myself with this one. I can’t decide if I like it or if it’s a hot mess. Probably because I don’t know much about absract. There is a lot of texture you probably can’t see. All this being said I rather enjoyed the experience. Golden artist colors on 18″ x 18″ box canvas.

I decided I needed practice drawing and painting babies and children. My husband tells me my attempts tend to look alien. I have to agree. That being said my determination is kicking in. Let the practice continue. Almost didn’t share these. Something is better then nothing? Perhaps nothing would be better. Cheers Susan.
