Thank you everyone that came to the art show and sale at the Red Barn in Sicamous this past weekend. Because of you it was a success. Many thanks to all the volunteers that worked hard before, during and after the show.
Although I miss him “Skye” found a new home and so did “Mr Heron”.
Now to start working on new pieces for next year’s show.

Wow! Thank you to everyone who came to the first day of the art show and voted for my painting “Skye”! 🔴 We won the first ever people’s choice award at the show. As far as I know this is the first time we’ve held a people’s choice contest. There will be a new winner every day during the show.
The show is still open tomorrow June 29th through July 1st. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. I will be there from 1 to 4 everyday.

This time I have a revision of a painting that I did back in 2018 to share with you. I was never particularly happy with “Raven Trail Autumn” but at the time I decided to leave it alone. Every time I looked at it I wanted to do something to it but was never sure what. The boardwalk bothered me and the lake in the distance did too. So this week I finally put Raven Trail Autumn back on my easel and had a go at changing it. Hopefully for the better. As you can see I posted the 2018 version on top and the 2024 revision bellow it.
The reminder is for the upcoming annual July long weekend Art Show and Sale at the Red Barn in Sicamous. Please, if you are in the area, drop by and visit the show. We have a lot of very talented people in our neck of the woods. I will be volunteering at the show daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and I will have four of my bigger paintings available along with a table of my smaller paintings and “one of a kind” cards for sale.

Meet Angus. He is the latest small painting that I have been working on for the upcoming Art Show and Sale.

The 45th annual Summer Arts and Crafts Show is coming up. These are the paintings that I have entered into the show. They are all for sale. I will also have a table with some smaller paintings and “one of a kind” cards. The show starts with a meet the artist evening on Thursday June 27th 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continues from June 28th through July 1st 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. This year the show is returning to the Red Barn Arts Centre on Riverside Ave in Sicamous. I will be volunteering 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. I hope to see you there. Cheers Susan

The 44th annual Art Show and Sale hosted by the Eagle Valley Brush and Palette Club and Eagle Valley Arts Council will be held June 30th to July 3rd 2023 at the Sicamous Council Chambers, district office building on Main Street Sicamous BC. I will have 4 paintings in the show and a table full of my “one of a kind” cards and small paintings. There will be a meet the artist night June 29th 7 to 9 p.m. It’s always a fun weekend in Sicamous so come by and check out all the Canada Day festivities and the art show.

It’s nearly time for the annual arts and crafts sale at the Red Barn Arts Center in Sicamous. I will have these four paintings in the show along with some of my hand painted “one of a kind” greeting cards. I know it’s a long way for some people to come to the show. But if you are in the vicinity of Riverside Ave Sicamous BC please do pop by to see the show. It runs from June 30 through July 3rd from 10 am to 4 pm daily.
