The prompt Simple Pleasures had my mind whirring away all over again. It doesn’t take much. Anyway I settled on snorkeling simply because it’s one of my favorite things to do. In actuality it isn’t very simple. Mainly because my ultimate place to go snorkeling is the Caribbean which is thousands of miles away from where I live. Sigh.

I was inspired by an article in June 2019 Watercolor Artist magazine “A Meditation in Light”. This is my acrylic spin on a watercolor of daisies in that article. I finished it this afternoon. Knowing me it could end up with some revisions but for now I am pleased to say “Haven Point Cabin” is done. Those who know my art may remember that I have painted this cabin before. Twice as a matter of fact. But this is a different view and a few years on from my previous attempts. Both of my other versions have found homes so hopefully this one will too. This spot on the Shuswap inspires me. It is another of my happy places. Artist Susan Feniak.
