Happy Elephant

SOLD Another one of my cards ready for the summer art show and sell season. Everyone of my cards are original, one of a kind, watercolor and ink, on Strathmore card stock. The buyer can send them or frame them. Sometimes a hard choice. I haven’t been able to part with several. For instance Henry the dog is staying in my home. Along with a flamingo or two. Hope you like this happy young elephant.

Sea dog

SOLD Yesterday I busied myself making cards to display and hopefully sale this summer at Three Buoys Marina in Sicamous. Sea dog is one of them. At our marina dogs and boats belong together. Fondly referred to as boater dogs. That being said this fella should be called lake dog. Lake or sea the water is the place to be for me. Boating season begins this weekend. Hooray!

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! Have a wonderful day. It’s a beautiful sunny day where I live. Perfect day to be outside pottering in the garden, walking, maybe enjoying a picnic. However you celebrate this day, enjoy.

Cards

I have a greeting card assembly line happening these days. Fun to do and even more fun coming up with fresh ideas. There are more then these two. Mother’s Day is coming. Cheers Susan

“Camille”

SOLD This is Camille. Another one of the greeting cards I have been creating of late. Camille’s luminous eyes are hard to resist. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Strathmore card stock.

“Henry”

Yesterday I busied myself making cards for some upcoming summer art shows. Henry is one of those cards. Henry seems a bit worried. I wonder what he has been up to? It seems a shame to part with Henry. I might just have to keep him or share him with someone special. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Strathmore card stock.

“Oh Oh!”

Oh Oh! What is going to happen here? I hope the mouse escapes… There are some family birthdays coming up so I am busy making cards. Have a great weekend everyone. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Strathmore card stock.

“Spring Tulips”

Spring Tulips. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR Watercolor on Strathmore Vision paper. 9″ x 12″. Officially Spring begins around 3 p.m. today. These tulips are my homage to that momentous event. I hadn’t played with my watercolors for ages and it felt like I had become a tad rusty. I better find more time to practice. Unframed $30.

“Who’s There?”

Done, finished, complete. And I am happy with the end result. Anyone that knows me would also know I wouldn’t be happy until I finished this one. Cheers Susan.

In progress…

In progress. Perhaps I have been influenced by all the paintings of Fox’s I have seen of late or maybe I wanted to try something different. I am not sure. But whatever the inspiration may be here is my latest watercolor piece still in progress. I rarely post a painting until I consider it done. Maybe just maybe I am happy with this one thus far.
