A progress report

This painting is in progress and taking me more time then what is normal. Other things have been causing distractions. Not only work but I have also upgraded my WordPress blog and created my own domain. Now when you visit my WordPress site you won’t be inundated with annoying advertising. My domain is called: susanfeniakart.com It is also a work in progress.

Good Life

“Good Life”. A commission I completed last summer. Meant as a surprise Christmas present for the recipient I could not post this until now. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on 12″×18″ canvas.

“Where Old Boats Go”

Where do old boats really go? There are a few derelicts in every marina I am sure. Actually rather sad to see. Artist Susan Feniak. Watercolor and ink on paper.

“Clean Up Crew”

Clean Up Crew. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Colors on box canvas. 24″×24″. As always I am inspired by the ocean, water or seaside. I recall many scenes like this while living on the west coast.

“Bird Island”

Bird Island. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Colors on box canvas. Inspired by the two Islands near Guayabitos Mexico and a demonstration by Mike Barr in PleinAir magazine I painted “Bird Island”. My version. I don’t recall what the two Islands actual names were but there were birds a plenty. Enjoy the feel of Pacific breezes and hear the waves roll onto the beach. This painting is for sale at Three Buoys Marina on Riverside Ave in Sicamous.

“Boat Repairs”

SOLD Hello August! July was a creative month for me. There are a few leftovers of that creativity to share. Boat Repairs is one of several. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR watercolor and ink on Strathmore paper.

World Watercolor Month Day 17

SOLD “Dan’s Boats” Artist Susan Feniak. Watercolour and Ink on Fabriano paper. 11″×14″. I am sure there is a story to tell but whatever has happened it appears Dan’s Boats has fallen into disrepair or onto hard times. My imagination at work.
