It’s been awhile…

“One of a kind” wood coasters
More “One of a kind” coasters
The start
Let the layers begin…

It has been some time since my last post. It’s not that I haven’t been creating. I have indeed  been painting or planning and gathering ideas. The truth is that I have no idea why I haven’t posted something. Perhaps it’s because I get very little traffic on my website or because I don’t have time. Perhaps I am too busy doing the aforementioned creating, planning and painting. Whatever there are reasons and excuses. These days it seems that time is at a premium for everyone.

I have decided to expand on my “one of a kind” greeting cards and start making “one of a kind” wood coasters. They are all hand painted and everyone is different.  Acrylic on approximately 4″ round or square coasters. The raw edge round coasters are a bit smaller. I am varnishing them to protect them from heat and moisture. And testing them to make sure they are protected.

I have also started another painting which when finished will be acrylic on a 20″ x 20″ gallery wrapped canvas. I will give the photo credit to a friend when the painting is complete. I am grateful to that friend for giving me permission to use his beautiful photo.

In the meantime have a fabulous weekend. Cheers Susan

Best Buddies

Best Buddies

“Best Buddies”. My latest acrylic on canvas painting. I hadn’t painted a larger doggie painting until now. My usual animal creations are normally done with watercolors. Milo and Molly are from my imagination. Yes, I gave them names, but I will let you decide who is who. I hope you like them.

Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylics on an 18″ x 24″ gallery canvas. Asking $250. Remember if you purchase a painting of mine you are buying original art. I do not make prints. If you are interested please email sfeniakart@gmail.com

Two more designs…

That’s right. I am THAT person that will remind you that Christmas is coming by posting my card designs for 2020. BTW Christmas is coming. There is no avoiding it so we should embrace it. It may just be that something that perks us all up. Goodness knows we can all use some happy these days. My cards are all individually hand painted one of a kind originals. I do not make prints so you won’t see boxes full of them any where. Hope to make you smile today. Cheers Susan
