“Waiting At The Cannery”

Waiting At The Cannery. Artist Susan Feniak. Koi and Windsor Newton Cotman Water Colours on Strathmore paper. West coast inspired. Framed, varnished and ready for a good home.

Rocky Shore 2

Rocky Shore 2 or Rocky Point. I had so much fun with my first version I decided to do a frame-able one. I do need to have some art ready to take to Three Buoys marina. Once again they have been kind enough to offer me space to sale and show my art this summer. Artist Susan Feniak. Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors and QoR watercolor on Fabriano cold press paper. Gouache and Pixma Micron ink.8″×10″

Rocky Shore

Rocky Shore. Artist Susan Feniak. Koi and Windsor Newton Cotman Water Colours on Opus Finest Paper. A slow day at the gallery last week gave me time to create two pieces of art. This is the second one. It’s inspiration is from (if I remember correctly) an insurance add in a magazine I saw awhile ago. Give credit where credit is due. Happy Monday! SOLD

Featured Artist

It is my turn to be the featured artist at Gallery One Fifty in Sicamous BC. This is the display of my art. Thank you Gallery One Fifty! The gallery is on Finlayson Street and it’s open hours are Tuesday threw Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. I will be there this coming Thursday April 26th.

Cards from the Seaside

I have been working on a new series of greeting cards. Actually having fun with simple seaside designs. There are 7 here. Artist Susan Feniak. Watercolors on Strathmore card stock.

“The Headland’s”

The Headland’s. Artist Susan Feniak. QOR watercolour on Canson paper. I must admit to being happy with this one. Cheers Susan

“Who Is Fishing?”

Who Is Fishing? I think the pelicans are. The boat seems to have seen better days. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Colors on Canson Acrylic paper. 12″×16″

“Pelican Crew”

“Pelican Crew” Artist Susan Feniak. Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors on Canson paper. 9″x12″. This is a scene I came across while on our recent holiday. No doubt the pelicans were waiting for the fishermen to provide some fishy tidbits.

Hope all of you are enjoying the last of winter. Spring is just around the corner.

“Tomorrow Is Another Day”

Hope you like my first big-ish painting in 2018.  Artist Susan Feniak.  Golden Artist Acrylics on 24″×24″ box canvas.  My first painting of a sunset.

At The Shore

I wasn’t happy with the original version of this painting so yesterday I spent some time adding more depth and interest.  You know, make it sing. I think it made a difference. Cheers.
