“Mara Twilight”

Mara Twilight

“Mara Twilight”. Believe it or not I have completed another painting. I am continually inspired by the views that I am fortunate enough to enjoy during the warmer months of the year. This painting is based on a photo that I took from the back of our houseboat late last summer. It had been a wet stormy day. The weather cleared as the sun set to reveal this glorious scene. I hope you like my second painting of Mara Lake completed so far this year. Okay second painting of Mara Lake in a week.

Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on a 20″ x 24″ gallery canvas. Asking $300. If you are interested in my art please email sfeniakart@gmail.com Thank you. Remember my art is original, I do not make prints.

World Watercolor Month 2020 Day 27

Shine

World Watercolor Month Day 27 prompt “Shine”. I don’t think this sweet little girl and dog admiring the view need any extra explaining. Other than maybe that I created the painting using QoR watercolors and Pixma Micron ink on Strathmore card stock. The artist is me, Susan Feniak. On hiatus

Punta de Mita sunset

I prefer sandy beaches and sunshine to a snowy and cold Canadian winter. Ergo I am on hiatus in Mexico and away from blogging. Maybe by the time I return to my Canadian home it will be sunnier and warmer. Here’s hoping. In the meantime I am sharing some photos. Enjoy.

Contemplation

Contemplation. If you don’t know me or my art you won’t know I rarely paint people. In fact I can’t remember the last time I tackled a selfie let lone another person. In my world that makes this painting special. The sunset adds to the contemplative moment I tried to capture here. Artist Susan Feniak. Koi watercolour on 8″×10″ Fabriano paper.
