SOLD Mara Morning

SOLD My painting “Mara Morning” at Gallery One Fifty in Sicamous. Thank you to the new owners. I am pleased it found a new home and hope you enjoy it for years to come. It’s always reassuring to learn that someone likes what you put on canvas enough to hang it on their wall in their own home. Mara Morning is the view I get to enjoy every day during the summer. It’s a part of me and who I am. Cheers Susan Feniak

Draw a bird day August

August 8th and it’s draw a bird day. Why not give you two birds? The peacock is inspired from Charlie O’Shields Sketching Stuff Activity Book, Nature. I am enjoying that book. Thank you Charlie.

Day 31 World Watercolor Month Finale!

Day 31 World Watercolor Month the finale. The prompt Favorite Colors. It’s been a fun month and I have enjoyed painting and posting everyday. Sometimes I only had a few minutes and that probably was very apparent in what I shared. Today I give you a Kingfisher. My favourite colour is BLUE any tone will do! Cheers Susan.

Day 23 World Watercolor Month

Day 23 World Watercolor Month. The prompt Beach Fun. This is as good of a sandcastle I was ever able to build. Probably the reason for that is I preferred to be in the water swimming. The only reason I would be building a sandcastle is because my Mother would be making me take the obligatory 30 minute wait after our picnic lunch. Remember those? They were the longest minutes of my childhood.

“Misty Morning”

Misty Morning is my newest acrylic painting. Now available at Gallery One Fifty on Riverside Ave in Sicamous. Funny how this painting started out to be a completely different subject matter and ended up being a Heron hiding in tall weeds and grasses on a misty morning. Guess the birch trees I planned on doing will show up in my next painting. Hope everyone is having a great summer. Cheers Susan. Acrylic on 20″×20″ box canvas. Painted on all sides no frame needed. $250.00

Day 17 World Watercolor Month

Day 17 World Watercolor Month. The prompt music led me to singing which led to song bird. Sing your heart out with joy!
