“Dancing Blues”

SOLD at Gallery One Fifty July 2019 After a few set backs and feeling some what discouraged here I am. Never give up! I am persistent. Dancing Blues. Golden Acrylics on 12″ x 12″ box canvas. I used a palette knife to get the texture on the dancing waves. Doesn’t need a frame $100.

I have been with WP for eight years! Time flies.

My Old Pond

My Old Pond. Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on 12″ x 12″ box canvas. My use of a palette knife gives this one a lot of texture. I felt like playing and it sure was fun.

Good Life

“Good Life”. A commission I completed last summer. Meant as a surprise Christmas present for the recipient I could not post this until now. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on 12″×18″ canvas.

Thank you

Thank you to my friends, fellow artists, supporters, purchasers and yes even collectors of my art. I appreciate your continued support. Hopefully 2019 will be another art filled year and I can make this world a brighter happier place to be.

Mara Morning

Mara Morning. I think that will be the name I give my latest painting. This is the early morning view of Mara Lake from our houseboat. Morning coffee and afternoon happy hour are spent admiring this scene from our vantage point on the aft deck. Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on 18″ x 24″ canvas. Varnished and framed. Ready for a good home or hang in a gallery.

Mara Muse

Mara Muse. A painting of the view from our houseboat. We spend hours sitting and staring at this spectacle of nature’s beauty. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Colors on 8″ x 10″ canvas.

Remember

On November 11th. REMEMBER. GIVE THANKS. LEARN FROM THE PAST AND THE PRESENT. HOPE FOR PEACE.

Raven Trail Autumn

Raven Trail Autumn. Artist Susan Feniak. Golden Artist Acrylics on 16″×20″ box canvas. Raven Trail is one of my favourite walks near where we live. Fall is not my favourite time of year mostly because winter comes next. I am Canadian. But that doesn’t mean I love winter. All that being said I do enjoy all the autumnal colours and kicking up the fallen leaves. I hope my painting evokes those pleasantries. Cheers Susan

Revised “Clean Up Crew”

After a critique I revised my painting “Clean Up Crew”. It was suggested that the waves were weak on the right so I improved them. I redefined the sky and added more birds for more interest. I think the lighting is improved on the sky, land and water near the land. Although she will most likely never see my efforts I would hope it holds her interest for longer the a few seconds. Enjoy your weekend friends. Cheers Susan

Hot Mess Or?

And now for something completely different. My first attempt at painting exclusively with a palette knife. Normally I don’t tackle abstract painting either. Asking a lot of myself with this one. I can’t decide if I like it or if it’s a hot mess. Probably because I don’t know much about absract. There is a lot of texture you probably can’t see. All this being said I rather enjoyed the experience. Golden artist colors on 18″ x 18″ box canvas.
