It was suggested that the waves were weak on the right so I improved them. I redefined the sky and added more birds for more interest. I think the lighting is improved on the sky, land and water near the land. Although she will most likely never see my efforts I would hope it holds her interest for longer the a few seconds. Watercolor and ink on paper. I was happy to spot a pair of Kingfishers near our boat this weekend. They were busily doing what they do best, fishing. They sit and watch the water then of a sudden will dive beak first into the water. Usually loners like our neighborhood heron a pair seemed like a bonus. Next I will have to attempt painting the local raptor an Osprey.

I don’t recall what the two Islands actual names were but there were birds a plenty. Enjoy the feel of Pacific breezes and hear the waves roll onto the beach. This painting is for sale at Three Buoys Marina on Riverside Ave in Sicamous.
