This is Rory. He is a handsome young highlander. Don’t you think? I have painted highlanders before, Hamish and Fiona to name two. But those were always watercolor creations. Rory is acrylic on an 11″ x 14″ canvas board. He is another painting in my attempt to build my inventory of smaller works.

After painting several larger pieces I decided it was time to create some smaller works.
The chickadees are acrylic on a 6″ x 16″ gallery canvas and has already sold. So much for building my smalls inventory. But appreciate the sell. Many thanks to the purchaser
The dog is from my imagination and I decided he suited being called Alfred. He is acrylic on a 8″ x 8″ gallery canvas and is available for sale asking $35. Plus shipping.

December is a busy time for everyone. This year I made almost 4 dozen Christmas cards. About 1/2 of them sold the rest were sent out to family and friends. Today we had our first major snow event of the season. That meant we needed to shovel snow off our houseboat. And of course what is December without a visit with the jolly old elf himself. And yes I have been good all year. No wish list involved. Just my hope that everyone stays safe and healthy this Christmas. Cheers Susan Feniak
