I was inspired by an article in June 2019 Watercolor Artist magazine “A Meditation in Light”. This is my acrylic spin on a watercolor of daisies in that article. Replication of a watercolor painting with acrylic is easier said then done. Or so it seemed to me. I am pleased with my result. Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on 16″ × 20″ box canvas. I know it has a Latin name and there are several species. It reminds me of thistles that I have painted on several occasions. I love all the pointy jagged bits.
