SOLD Yesterday I busied myself making cards to display and hopefully sale this summer at Three Buoys Marina in Sicamous. Sea dog is one of them. At our marina dogs and boats belong together. Fondly referred to as boater dogs. That being said this fella should be called lake dog. Lake or sea the water is the place to be for me. Boating season begins this weekend. Hooray!

Kingfisher

Watercolor and ink on paper. I was happy to spot a pair of Kingfishers near our boat this weekend. They were busily doing what they do best, fishing. They sit and watch the water then of a sudden will dive beak first into the water. Usually loners like our neighborhood heron a pair seemed like a bonus. Next I will have to attempt painting the local raptor an Osprey.

Thank you to Diane the owner of Explore Decor for taking part in the annual Sicamous Art Walk and making space for my art. Artist Susan Feniak. Both paintings are watercolors on paper, varnished, framed and waiting for a new home.
